REPORTS
Learning By Doing operates extensive monitoring programs and coordinates water operations to assess and address changes in the aquatic environment.
Monitoring - Stream temperature, sediment transport, fish population, riparian habitat, macroinvertebrate and special projects pre- and post-monitoring are overseen by a Monitoring Subcommittee to inform LBD of undesirable conditions that require action. Operations - An Operations Subcommittee conducts weekly operations call from May–September to respond to low flows and high stream temperatures through operational flexibility to direct flushing flows where needed.
